This course begins a two-course sequence introducing students to Koine Greek, the language of the New Testament. It assumes no prior knowledge. Students will learn the alphabet, pronunciation, and common vocabulary, as well as the grammar, syntax, morphology, and phonology of Koine Greek.
Since this is a two-course sequence, students who cannot take Greek II during winter term are encouraged to wait until they can take the two-course sequence together.
