I WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT CAREY THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE REACH ITS MINISTRY GOALS BY GIVING A GIFT.

Dear Friends of Carey,

As continue Carey Theological College’s legacy of ministry, I am thankful for the many years of support by you — our prayer partners, supporters and donors — who have so lovingly cared for what God is doing through Carey.

Carey began as a Christian student residence at the University of British Columbia in 1959 and established a graduate theological college in 1980. Since then Carey has trained thousands of leaders in Canada and around the world who serve as pastors, missionaries, and lay leaders in local churches today.

Global Theological Education

Carey supports pastoral and ministry leadership training to hundreds of students in Canada and in countries such as Rwanda, Kenya, D. R. Congo, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, India and Thailand. Our biblically-based accredited educational programs are typically half the cost of other seminaries and we provide significant bursaries to help students in developing countries.

Christian Student Residence at UBC

Our unique in-residence program enables 44 Canadian and international UBC students to experience Christian discipleship training while they earn their university degrees. Over 2,000 students have participated in our community living and leadership development residence program since 1959.

Building Campaign

Thousands of UBC students are on the waiting list for residence each year. Encouraged by a leadership pledge of $3 million, Carey is building another student residence to house up to 104 students. For more than a decade, Carey has provided facilities for church activities and pastoral training programs during non-academic periods, Carey’s Building Campaign will expand our capacity to meet demand for this ministry.

If any of these three areas are important to you, we invite you to please consider a gift to Carey as we seek to train more workers for the harvest (Luke 10:2).

May God’s richest blessings be upon you.

Sincerely with the Grace of God,

Rev. Colin Godwin, PhD
President
