Course Description
This course introduces the four canonical Gospels and Acts, with particular attention to their social and historical contexts, distinct literary qualities, theological witness, and formative power for Christian faith and practice. Students will learn a variety of interpretive methods, and will work out implications for contemporary ministry by means of case studies. Required in the Cornerstone sequence.
