TEACHING AREA: PRACTICAL THEOLOGY, PASTORAL MINISTRY

Jim Horsthuis was raised in Revelstoke B.C. and after pastoring and studying in various parts of Canada has returned to the B.C. interior. He currently lives in Salmon Arm B.C. He is married to Laura and they have two adult children, Josh and Jenna. Jim has 25 years of pastoral and ministry experience as lead pastor, chaplain and pastoral theologian. His research interests include pastoral theology, the doctrine of the Trinity and Christian spirituality. He completed his PhD in Christian Theology with a focus of Pastoral Theology from McMaster Divinity College. Jim enjoys reflective walks, reading, relating, and most sports (he follows Formula 1 Auto Racing and the Montreal Canadiens most closely).
