GIVE TO CAREY
Your gift to CAREY projects builds the church and its leaders as we expect great things from God and attempt great things from God.
Dear Friends of Carey,
As we prepare to celebrate Carey Theological College’s 60th anniversary, I am thankful for the many years of support by you — our prayer partners, supporters and donors — who have so lovingly cared for what God is doing through Carey.
Carey began as a Christian student residence at the University of British Columbia in 1959 and established a graduate theological college in 1980. Since then Carey has trained thousands of leaders in Canada and around the world who today, serve as pastors, missionaries, and lay leaders in local churches. We continue to serve the global church through the following three ministries.
Biblically-based Accredited Theological Education
Carey supports pastoral and ministry leadership training to hundreds of students around the world as in Canada, Kenya, Bolivia, China and Latin America. Our accredited educational programs are typically half the cost of other seminaries and we provide significant bursaries to help students in developing countries. We also produce digital content to resource churches and other ministries.
Discipleship Training to UBC Student Residents
Our unique in-residence program enables UBC students to experience discipleship training that incorporates community living and leadership development while they earn their university degree. Over 2,000 students have participated in our residence program.
If any of these three areas are important to you, we invite you to please consider a gift to Carey as we seek to train more workers for the harvest (Luke 10:2).
May God’s richest blessings be upon you.
Sincerely with the Grace of God,
Rev. Colin Godwin, PhD
